The Cape Charles
Hotel Historic Inn is closed.
This means there are no hotel
rooms available for Summer 2010.
The
hotel and business are closed
and the owners have retired. The
empty building has been sold and
we do not know if it will be
re-opened as a hotel.
You
can do an internet search to
find alternative
accommodations since the Inn
has closed. There is a
Holiday Inn Express and a
Best western in Exmore, 25
miles north.

The Cape Charles Hotel Historic
Inn is located in the heart of
the Cape Charles, Virginia
Historic District. Cape
Charles is the jewel of Eastern Shore Virginia
on the Chesapeake
Bay 8 miles north of where the
bay meets the Atlantic Ocean.
The Inn has 17 beautiful rooms &
the harbor, beach, restaurants
and pub are all within 2 blocks.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
-
STAIRS - All rooms are on the 2nd
floor and accessed by a central
staircase.

CHECK-IN - Our check-in time
is 3:00 to 8:00 pm.

LATE ARRIVALS - We are a
family run Inn, check-ins after 8 pm
must be coordinated with Innkeeper.

CHECK-OUT - Guests must
check-out by 11:00 am.

CHILDREN - All children must
be 6 or older to stay at the Inn.
Sometimes when we are not busy, or
special events, exceptions can be
made. Call and inquire.

NO SMOKING - No Smoking
anywhere inside the Inn.
-
NO PETS - No pets allowed at the Inn.

EVENTS & HOLIDAY WEEKENDS - During
busy season & events, a weekend
reservation staying over a Friday or
Saturday night may require a 2 night
minimum stay, ask when you call for
reservations.

OCCUPANCY LIMITS - Rates are based
on 1 or 2 occupants per room, except
Deluxe Rooms with 2 Full Beds which can have up to 4
occupants with a $20/night for each person over
2. We have no roll-away beds available.

CANCELLATIONS - Cancellation
requires 7 days notice for a full
refund, less a $30 cancellation fee.
If cancelled less than 7 days out,
cost of stay will be charged.

NO FOOD PREP - Rooms do not
contain refrigerators, microwaves,
coffee makers or cooking facilities,
food preparation is not allowed

PAYMENT - Visa, MasterCard,
American Express cards & Cash accepted.

TAXES ARE 10% - Rates subject
to 5% State, 2% County & 3% Town tax.

GUARANTEE YOUR RESERVATION-
All reservations must be guaranteed
with a credit card.

ADA - First floor Lobby and
Event Room are fully accessible.
There are no first floor hotel
rooms, all hotel rooms are on the
2nd floor. One ADA room is available
on the 2nd floor, however, due to
historic layout of the building
means that 2nd floor handicapped
accessibility is not convenient, due
to the wheel chair lift remote
location at the rear of the
building.

BOATERS - Public and private
moorings at Cape Charles Harbor (2
blocks) and Bay Creek Marina (1
mile). There is
no taxi service in Cape Charles, but
you can rent golf carts.
